Roomie Shoot

Some friends on campus asked me to do a roommate photo shoot for them--they wanted to use the prints to decorate their apartment. I thought it was a great idea! We picked out a location, and spent the afternoon wandering around laughing and snapping photos. They told me later that they'd picked out clothing colors specially suited to each girl's personality, and kept the white capris and sandals for unity. It was so much fun getting to see them interact together, poking fun at each other and talking. That first picture is my favorite: it's a perfect summary of the afternoon.

Lucas: Class of 2012

Congratulations to Lucas! He's graduating this May and headed to Olivet Nazarene University where he hopes to study Exercise Science, Physical Training, or Youth Ministry. In high school, Lucas is a member of the cross country team and has done several half-marathons and triathlons.  He's also the founder of his school's Ultimate Frisbee club, and has been a leader in FCA. He loves God, friends, and fun, and is an all-around awesome guy. Did I mention he's also my brother? So proud of this guy. Congrats, Luke!

I'm home!

Hi all! It's been a while--I've been living in Ecuador the past couple of months, but am finally home and thought I'd post a few portraits of some of the great people and close friends I traveled with--beginning with the "on a boat" series below, taken on our yacht in the Galapagos.
